Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show 2024

Silvan Organics had such a wonderful opportunity to be a part of this year's Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, by sponsoring the ferns for the @newnordicnotes show garden, which won the Silver Gilt Award.

Such a rewarding experience to meet the lovely garden designers Annika Zetterman and Kajsa Bjorne who created a tranquil and calm space, featuring the following native ferns in their design.
• Dicksonia antarctica (soft tree fern)
• Cyathea australis (rough tree fern)
• Doodia aspera (rasp fern)
• Polystichum proliferum (mothershield fern)

All ferns were spore grown, with the largest provided being the two-year-old Dicksonia antarctica.

It was wonderful to see the ferns incorporated into a finished garden complementing the beautiful trees, flowers and impressive woodwork.

Silvan Organics were excited to meet the talented Landscape Designer - Daniel Althaus, who chose the Blechnum nudum ferns (fishbone water fern) to be included into his impressive Boutique Garden - ''Mother Ocean'' at this year's Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show! It was a pleasure for us to sponsor these ferns for such a professional and see the creative design come to life! @althaus_landscape_designs
